BPP Newsletter: December 2017
2017 was an exciting first year for the Broker Public Portal and we could not have achieved our phenomenal growth without the support of our MLS and broker partners.
The BPP’s choice of Homesnap as its public-facing partner has been a resounding success, with over 100 MLSs representing over 800,000 agents now displaying their listings. The BPP’s goal of a national footprint has become a reality.
The BPP Launches CRMLS
CRMLS is one of the latest MLSs to join the BPP. With over 85,000 agents, CRMLS is also one of the largest MLSs to participate in the BPP and has added Homesnap Pro to its core products. In addition, Homesnap.com will replace HomeSeekers.com as CRMLS’s public-facing website.
“We are very excited that CRMLS, one of the largest and most influential MLSs in the country, is endorsing and joining the BPP by making Homesnap and Homesnap Pro available to consumers and agents in their market,” said Homesnap CEO John Mazur. “The addition of CRMLS brings the BPP to the reality of a national footprint, and this partnership will make CRMLS’s subscribers more productive and efficient.”
What’s New at Homesnap?
Homesnap is constantly innovating and improving its technology to deliver cutting-edge tools to agents and consumers. Recently, Homesnap partnered with Waze to create the first program for real estate agents to reach drivers near their listings using the popular community-based navigation app.
Agents who purchase Waze Ads by Homesnap through the Homesnap platform promote their listings through map pins featuring the listing’s photo, which appear when people navigate near the listing and expand to provide more information; and sponsored search results, which appear when drivers search for a related or nearby address. In both cases, drivers can save the listing and contact the listing agent. Brokers and teams can also showcase their logos through branded pins and digital billboards that take over the driver’s screen when stopped.
