BPP Success Story: Adding Value to the Market

Jeremy Crawford, President and CEO of First Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (FMLS), explains the value that the BPP brings to the MLS, why industry leaders should support the movement, and how he leverages Homesnap in his market, in this recent RIS Media article.

“Every MLS that’s not already a member of the Broker Public Portal isn’t putting the broker at the forefront of their business decisions,” wrote Crawford. “Every technology offer must provide value to a broker’s business. Offering Homesnap helps support our role in making the market work. It’s a technology that ‘wows’ clients.”

FMLS serves more than 42,000 real estate professionals in Georgia with over 2,100+ broker member offices.

The BPP Grows in Florida

Since the BPP launched in 2017, 8 MLSs in Florida have joined. The latest two include New Smyrna Beach MLS and Florida Keys MLS, which expands Homesnap’s footprint to 14 MLS partners in the Sunshine State.

“Our Board of Directors made the wise decision to join the Broker Public Portal in order to share data and generate leads for our members without them being negatively impacted by advertisements and misdirectingflaconsumers away from the listing broker and agent,” said Ron Stephan, CEO of RealtyWEB MLS, based in Jacksonville. “The Homesnap mobile product is second to none in the industry and our members are loving it.”

Homesnap’s coverage in Florida includes Miami, Stellar, Northeast Florida, Naples, Pensacola, Bonita Springs-Estero, Ocala/Marion County, Space Coast, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Sanibel & Captiva Island, St Augustine and St. Johns County, and New Smyrna Beach.

What’s New at Homesnap?

We are pleased to announce the brand new “Who’s Viewed” feature for Homesnap Pro Agents. Similar to “Who’s Viewed” in LinkedIn, agents can now see the total number of agents and consumers who have viewed their listings in the last 90 days. Agents will be able to see the count, as well as the city and state, of all agents who have viewed their listings and profile to understand how their online presence is changing over time and gain insights into their listings.
